So after 4 weeks off the road whilst i sold my m-sport bumper & bought a new one, washer jet holes filled & then sprayed
I now have a bmw performance bumper, it was a bit of a ball ache to get it to fit, as it is meant for a 08- 1 series with the new style slam panel, which the correct brake air ducts, top & bottom air duct ( behind kidney & ic grills) but i didn't want to fork out £200 for a new slam panel, so did a bit of customising was in order, i cable tied & screwed the top air duct in place, then cut down the old m-sport brake ducts & bottom central air duct & screwed in place to accommodate the new custom brake air ducting.
The grill blanking plates were milled & air cons glued in place.
I also have fitted a removable number plate (for car shows) its a VW Jett bracket & i then made a mounting plate which is fixed in place through the bumper & the bracket fixes to that & bolts & unbolts as & when & hoovers away from the bumper.
Heres the end result
The number plate bracket
From the inside
Before the bracket was cut down to be more sung.
Im extremely happy with the out come.
Next on the list is a new spoiler & maybe a full splitter (M3 GTS lower section)

Splitter
New spoiler - csl style hatch scoop carbon fibre
But maybe top part sprayed to match the car, leaving the under exposed, like below but the opposite way round, but depends on money.
Stud conversion kit with purple lug nuts to a bit more colour.

So after my disappointment at the Dyno Daze RR day, deep down i know something wasnt right & it didnt feel as quick but didnt think my remap could have been wiped after the car being off the road for 2 week then some coding being done back in May last year, but after getting it back on the road didnt really rag it much till Santa pod in September when i was beat by a 118d, mine should have walked it, all the sign were there so the RR day confirmed my fears
So i booked my car in for a custom map at P-Torque a very highly regarded tuner in the street & pro car scene, on the day my car was producing some very promising figures but the Turbo Actuator wasn't performing to its best & not holding full boost with the new map so had to be booked in for inspection to find out it cant be fixed & it needs a new turbo in order to be able to have the car mapped
So some cheaper styling is being done ready for Fast Car
Today i got round to fitting my new spoiler, CSL style spoiler
Next is the stud conversion kit & 10or 12mm spacers.

Sorry about the dyno day, it does sometimes create a bug which you might have never had before! One good thing from the day (other than spending the time time with us lovely people) is that Ive seen the video and it looks good, and your in it!
