I really wanted to organise a club stand for the Rising Sun Show. It looks a right laugh (never been before) and bit different to your normal car show.
Only snag is, JAPFEST @ Castle combe is on the 15th
BDC Round 2 @ Llandow on 22nd and
JTS (japanese tuning show) @ Silverstone on 23rd.
With majority of members booked in for JTS and Japfest (we've got 20+ confirmed and paid for each show) as well as most of us going to support Noel and team teyaki @ Llandow.......May was looking bit busy and too expensive for majority of us. We know how good Japfest @ JTS are so chose them over rising sun. I really want to do it next year though!
Plus fiancee wont let me have 6 weekends on the trot full of car stuff <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="

No worries, cheers for the info, will keep up to scratch on JPOC
A very minor update, more of a experience/try out actually, but I heard of a method to tint lights that are 100% MOT acceptable. The kit from http://www.FlyEyesKit.co.uk was £13.98 delivered for a 33x127cm roll, you also get a knife and 'squeegee'. I did buy it just to tint my spoiler brake light, the side indicators, and was thinking of tinting my headlights.
After using it today though I doubt I will do the headlights, and will probably take it off the indicators - it wasnt very easy for me to work with and stands out quite alot - only at a distance or in shaded areas like the spoiler does it look ok to me! I did start getting the hang of it though, realising it stretches pretty well to slight curves and then stronger ones you cut the viny to allow it to shape. Overall though it still looks like what it is... vinyl with holes in it, just not as smooth/fine as traditional spray tinting etc, but will do the job I suppose
