Dont think ill be making so many changes to mine but theres a couple of things for sure, ill see what time and money permits after I get it serviced, would like some expert idea of how healthy it is.. has 25k miles on it, previous had it for 15k and has switched to a civic type-r because she couldnt throw it about as much due to the heavier steering and clearly her rings have scratched off the top of the gear nob so I'm not sure she was gentle with it, apparently she had also had an RX8 but found it too gutless...
Ill do most my own reading, but i reserve the right to ask the odd question here and there

1st had my rear wiper removed and covered hole with rubber grommet. went to paint store with paint code to get a can of paint and painted myself. Not perfect, will do for now, will get smoothed out and resprayed eventually.
Then me and Chris (mostly Chris
So took it to tinting Ed same night to get it done professionally, incl tinting my windows.
Got there pretty late, so only had time to tint 3 rear windows, rear lights and rear indicators
(told you it was pretty late <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="
Tinted:
Ed's done a great job! But want my rear lights and indicators re-done a bit darker
something like this....
+ front windows needs to be tinted as well
Then removed my huge front number plate and Ed made me a little vinyl one
before:
then:
after
But then i thought it was a bit to small and it was asking to get pulled over and get fine + as then discovered by Chris - it wasnt even reflective anyway lol
So ordered similar one from ebay, slightly bigger but reflective one
And being retarded me- i didnt put it on straight lol a bit to the left <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="
Next to do - is to sort out engine bay and get a bit more power, to be done by Fast Show
Engine bay:
Carbon fibre engine cover (kind of already got it
Carbon fibre battery/brake fluid covers (got them)
Carbon fibre air intake pipe
Carbon fibre bonnet dampers (present from sister for xmas lol)
Color coded pro-bolts (the ones that hold plenum cover down)
Few other little engine bay dressing bits
Strut Brace
All bits will go on at same time when I have them all.
Also gonna attempt to polish plenum cover as well
from that
to that
Will get polished coolant and power steering tanks eventually as well.
Really want a V2 oil catch tank...looks amazing...but its like £400 <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="
Power wise:
Upper plenum spacer (already ordered, should be here in 4-5 weeks)
Keeping stock air filter, with fitting it with velocity stack and cosworth or hks panel filter
De-cats
Performance Y-pipe
Uprev/Remap @ Abbey Motorsport
so about £1-£1.5k later it will only add 25-35bhp...not a lot as its NA car...but still takes restrictions off 1st and 2nd gear and will respond much much better.
Possibly will get electronic throttle controller.... but what it does - ill get after Uprev anyway!
That's what planned for next few months
