Sorry everyone, been really busy with that bloody car lol
Yea, fitted s/c, which from first start was making a rattling noise...got told that these chargers are a bit noisy...went to tune it at Abbey Motorsport - just to realise that compressor is knackered and not supposed to be that loud...
Went home, took it off, stripped compresser - 2 high speed bearings failed...ordered rebuild kit from US (as pretty hard to find 60k RPM bearings over here), rebuilt it, put it back on the car, started it- was much much better than before, with no rattling noise and no play in impeller shaft...took it for a test drive-went ok until I floored it and high speed bearings failed and as it was spinning pretty fast-it fecked few things up...so sent while unit to US last week to get professionally rebuild :) should be here mid December as that bloke on holiday now for 2 weeks!
Will upload pics of broken things etc later on :)

Starting my little hydro dipping business now and currently doing my interior bits in carbon fibre (with gold weave)...will upload pics later with my work and will start taking orders if anyone wants anything doing! But that's deferent subject and need to confirm with Chris 1st :)

Bad news about the s/c. Sounds like you did the right things by sending it to US to get rebuilt.

Not many people over here that do it.

Oh and the dipping sounds good, be keeping my eye on that with possible orders if all good and ok. :)

Yea...was about to buy new compressor, which is £1500 (applied for credit card for that lol), but after emailing bloke who sent me them bearings and blamings that it was dodgy bearing- he offered to rebuild it free of charge with new bearings...all I have to pay is postage there and back(about 70 each way) and another 200 dollars for housing to be re-machined as he will have to take it to someone else...according to him-it will be like brand new when it leave him...so fingers crossed :)

And awesome mate, I'm sure me and Chris will come to some sort of arrangement!
Will speak to him tomorrow and if all good, will create a new thread/sub forum for hydro dipping with all info and pics of my work and different options :)

new bearings, seals(not in the pic)
File Attachment:

Fitted all in, put it on the car and it all failed at high RPM, causing more damage
File Attachment:

Failed bearings caused a play in impeller shaft, causing this:
Hole, where impeller shaft goes-got a bit destroyed
File Attachment:

Impeller rubbing on the hosing and melting itself

melted impeller on the housing
