Was a good turn out this year was 12 cars and about 30 of us racked up a 500euro bill at a posh steak house split between everyone

Right back from holiday and the car is looking unloved.

As I left on holiday I received my manual steering rack only to find I had been sent a LHD steering rack <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Crying or Very Sad" /><!-- s:cry: --> so I'm trying to sort this out with the seller currently

Today the cupra started its diet gunna try and get it under 1000KG with the OE wheels. Decide the window will be plastic just gotta find a good set.

I took the passenger seat out to gain access to the back to strip some more sound Deading out

Then realised I hadn't got any brake cleaner to get the rest off and clean



Started taking the dash out too see what's what behind lol soon got bored and not being on eBay for 2 weeks took its toll.

I've ordered a AGU large port head ( for the engine I'm building)
Some cheap coillies from DPM so I can send my B16s off for a rebuild

Moved the car over to me garage to crack on with some serious work at the weekend. Haven't driven it since I got back from the ring forgot how much fun it is to drive even with the steering banging around.

Before I did tho I removed a few items







Be pressing my bushes into the MK3 golf arms tomoz and sort a steering rack out.

Started to do a bit on the car tonight







Subframe is ready to drop tomoz to see what's what with the rack.
