Looks good bro, I definitely like the lights they are a really nice touch.
and
I THINK I like the sunstrip too. If I pictured it in my head I would have probably said no, but seeing it on the car, it actually seems to go. Be interesting to see it in person.
Sorry I didn't reply to your text, cheers for finding out for me but by the time I woke up you were probably on your way back or home ahaaaaaa.

No worries I think he'll prefer to do it all in one go anyway
He did a good job yeah, if I was being picky theres A slight flaw in one place but I could just get it replaced when I head back if it bugs me - going for gloss roof in the new year
It's just a standard tint/level used I think, didn't even ask about level all I said is closest to legal as possible! Vlad got some of it himself and it looked exactly the sameVwpolodave wrote: Fair play mate he done a good job how dark u have them?

Cheers JB
The car is well overdue a service and some engine care so focusing on that now, been buying bits ready to take it to a Gen 7 celica specialist called Se7en Motorsports. So far Ive got;
Blueprint Clutch - Got it from Fensport, clutch has been slipping now for like a year <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="
" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
MTEC Black Edition dimpled/grooved brakes w/ Mintex pads - the brakes had an advisory so wont last til the next MOT so sorting that nice and early. The pads will rub off the black on the disc, its only to protect everywhere else
Alloy radiator - Water keeps shooting down past minimum, apparently its the norm on celicas, but during the other bits will get it checked out (current rads hit its life expectancy)
Service bits - New Denso plugs, oil filter, lift bolts (long before they might snap!) and a new aux belt which will hopefully get rid of the horrible squeal my car makes on wet mornings
Then while I'm at it I'm getting the Se7en stage 2 cams as well
Will help me stay happy with Celica, might be moving house and jobs soon so need to stick with a car for a while and the celica is looking how I like it, its practical and economical, but I just want that little extra power. Im not hoping for much on BHP but something to make up for the lack of torque these cars have, especially before lift kicks in

If I did more than the stage 2 cams then yeah I would need to remap it, only problem is the celicas have fully locked down ECUs, no remaps, no piggybacks!

Loads of goodie there Chris.
all gd there fella but with stage 2 cams they do not release much more hp, only smooth out the power from 3000 to 6200 before lift comes in making the drive easier, 189bhp out of a 1.8 is damn good going anyway especially when you consider it doesn't have forced induction. Over 100bhp per litre - there are a large number of past supercars that don't even match that!!
If you went for a stand alone system, something like an apexi power fc, around £700 for the ecu plus another £300 on top for mapping it. You won't see alot of power gain either.

Yeah I wouldnt bother with a new ECU etc with what I have, and I know the gains are mainly on the torque - I can feel the drop at more like 4000 than 3000
Ive mainly heard of 1-3bhp gains, some gained nothing! To reach 189 again at 103k would be nice, and an improvement on the 185 I got on the last dyno, when it wasnt even serviced
Will see how Lee at Se7en can work his magic
