I looked at chris's car for 20 minutes at the meet till i realised the bumper had broke, it looks awesome even with the middle bit missing, it could have been a lot lot worst.

Well I smashed the front lip up even more at Modified Nationals so couldnt keep the bodge! Rushed out and got an old pre-facelift bumper to keep me going for now. It doesnt look too bad, in some light and angles though the colour match is terrible! Still not managed to rectify it, but it is only temporary. Heres a couple of pics from the Car Culture UK meet:
Also went to Dynodaze, really poor result though and lost power and torque since getting the stage 2 cams, so somethings not right and now it looks like it might be going back to Se7en Motorsports. Quick pic on the dyno:
However, the modding hasn't stopped!
Got hold of a spark plug cover, so I've started polishing up the engine to try and match it. All done by hand so far, but now Ive got some bits to do it with a drill so should make it easier to do the more difficult to reach areas, looking really good so far compared to how nasty it was before! Pretty much all done by Vlad, with a little help from me <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="
" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> Cheers buddy
Got red braided HEL brake lines and brake fluid from Opie Oils ready to change them over, ready for the MOT at the end of next month
Installed a shortshifter too, feels great and quickly got used to it (feels the norm now) and then got Se7en Motorsport solid gear cable brushes to go in this weekend too to get rid of the current crappy rubber ones:
(Might get a taller/weighted gearknob now)
(Sits to the right, but I like that to be honest!)
Also got the dual halo 'GT-R' style headlights, need alittle tinkering doing to them - might be used just for shows and meets etc only. Going to get them tinted as well so it should looking pretty mean once the GReddy lip is on too
Oh yeah and painted the bumper badge black! Wont be staying that bumper anyway but couldnt stand the tacky chrome toyota badge! Removed the numberplate surround as well like with my last one to make it slightly cleaner

You'd hope whoever did the work would notice the timing was out. Surely they tested the car after fitting the cams? Unfortunately the celica's dont have much torque so any loss is important really.
Hope you get it sorted out! Where you wanting to import the bumper from? Theres a company called Japandyno who import car bits all the time

And he drove it from Scunthorpe after he had finished, I think the actual cams might be the problem and not tge timing
The lip will be coming through Mad Motors as they're the cheapest Ive found so far, from what I can gather they have their own container
